The Argentine Ambassador's Cup polo tournament will take place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2008.

Spectators are encouraged to come and enjoy the action on the field and the champagne on the sidelines. No entry tickets are necessary for this tournament, but please RSVP to

The Saturday night BBQ in the Polo Club House will feature great wines and Argentine tango, and reservations will be taken for a place in the next "Zero to Hero" beginners polo course.

Come and enjoy the camaraderie of the polo community in China. Where competition is important but first and foremost is the enjoyment of the game and celebration of friendship.

This tournament is open to all polo players (beginners and beyond) based in China and guests from further elsewhere. Entries are accepted from individuals and teams. Rated players must declare their handicap at the time of entry. Un-rated beginner players will be assessed for safety and understanding of the rules of polo prior to the tournament starting. All right of entry is reserved by the management of the club; irrespective of declared experience and rating of individual players.

Weekend Program

Saturday 30th August

3:30pm: Spectators and players arrival at the polo field
4:00pm: Chukkas commence
6:00pm: Asado BBQ on the polo club house terrace. Enjoy the Argentine wines and tango performance.

Sunday 31st August

4:00pm: Chukkas commence - tournament finals
6:00pm: Awards ceremony and presentation of the Argentine Ambassador’s Cup 2008
